A wanted man has been arrested following a police chase through Sheffield city centre this evening.

The 25-year-old was detained after officers stopped a car on Shoreham Street, near the Triple Point Brewery, at around 5.30pm today, Tuesday, March 10.
South Yorkshire Police said the man was arrested on suspicion of assault, breach of a restraining order and possession of controlled drugs, and he remains in custody.
A second man who was also in the vehicle is being prosecuted for alleged motoring offences.
