Wannabe thieves are being warned to steer clear of one Doncaster car showroom after someone broke in during the early hours of this morning but fled empty handed.
South Yorkshire Police were called to Car Adviser Ltd in Powerstation Road at around 5.20am after the alarm had been set off.
Car adviser Keenan Perrin, via Facebook, said: “Up at the crack of dawn to our showroom being robbed by some scumbag. £1000.00 REWARD for anyone giving us or the police the name of this perp leading to a prosecution. Cant believe this guy has the front to ignore the police alarm and wear a high Viz Vest!”
He told the Free Press: “We have been broken into three times in the last year and it always appears to be youngsters in hoodies. We have got decent surveillance equipment installed so we have some good images of who broke in this morning.
“The break-ins tend to happen between 2am and 5am and on the last two occasions nothing has been stolen because we don’t keep anything valuable on the premises.
“The first theft they took iPads and computers, but we leave nothing like that now, thieves might as well steer clear.”
