A victim of crime who challenged three people spotted breaking into their car was threatened with an axe, baton and knuckle duster after confronting the culprits.

South Yorkshire Police said ‘three males’ were ‘followed and challenged’ by a victim of crime whose car had been broken into.
But the trio threatened the victim with a range of weapons.
They were later arrested and three weapons were seized.
South Yorkshire Police said enquiries into the incident in Rotherham are ongoing.
