Firefighters have dealt with a spate of arson attacks where cars and vans were destroyed.
A Jaguar was dumped and set alight on wasteland off Mortomley Close, High Green, Sheffield, at 10.30pm on Saturday, while a Mercedes van was set on fire on Skew Hill Lane, Grenoside, Sheffield, the following morning.
A car parked on Towngate, Mapplewell, Barnsley, was set alight at 3pm on Sunday followed by a Land Rover Discovery, which was found engulfed in flames on Hellaby Lane, Hellaby, Rotherham, at 10pm that night.
Crews were also called out to a Mini Cooper set alight on Southey Drive, Longley, Sheffield, on Sunday night before a Hyundai was found burning on Station Road, Wombwell, Barnsley, in the early hours of Monday.
Firefighters were called out in the early hours of yesterday to deal with a silver taxi which had been deliberately set alight on York Road, St Anns, Rotherham.
