The death of a man in Sheffield yesterday is being looked into by police.

South Yorkshire Police do not yet know what caused the death of Anthony Bownes, aged 54.

He was found at an address in Busk Park, Southey, at about 12.25pm.

A post-mortem exam was conducted but it was unable to confirm the cause of death so police are carrying out further investigations.

But officers say they are not currently treating the death as suspicious.

Officers want anyone with information about Mr Bownes whereabouts over the last 10 days to contact South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 387 of 17 October 2014.
