Police wernt out to the first address in Burngreave yesterday morning.

After working closely with the city council, a closure order had been granted at Sheffield Magistrates court and will run for at least three months. This prohibits anybody from entering the property.

A spokesperson for the force said: “This particular address has been problematic for a number of months, with numerous reports of drug supply, drug use, ASB and noise nuisance.”

Within minutes of taping the order to the door, officers were off to a second address where concerns for the tenant had been raised.

Rather than find the resident in need of any assistance, officers found four unfamiliar faces inside the address not only breaking COVID regulations but also using drugs (Khat – pictured).

Subsequently all four males were issued £200 COVID tickets and the drugs were seized.
