Two new Police and Community Support Officers are pounding the streets in Chesterfield.

Darryl Hegarty and Scott Wilson have been patrolling the streets and meeting residents to find out about local issues of concern since joining the Chesterfield South Safer Neighbourhood Team.

They have also teamed up to run an outdoor football session for youngsters in Queens Park every Wednesday.

Darryl was a Neighbourhood Ranger Chesterfield Council before joining the police and Scott worked as an Appointments Clerk in the X-ray department at Chesterfield Royal Hospital before training to become a PCSO.
