Two men wanted following shooting in Barnsley

Police are looking for two men following a reported shooting in Barnsley on Friday evening (December 20), injuring a man.

The men, identified as Nathan Harrod, 24 and Daniel Wogan, 22 are wanted after a man had been shot outside an address in Wollaton Close in the Athersley area at 10pm.

A 31-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to his leg and was rushed to Barnsley hospital. He underwent surgery but is expected to make a full recovery.

Nathan, who goes by the nickname "Swampy" is described as being around 6ft 2in, with mousy brown hair and a tattoo on his right arm saying 'Family is everything'.

The second man, Daniel, is described as being 5ft 7in and of a stocky build.

They are both known to frequent the Athersley and New Lodge areas of Barnsley.

The police said: "Have you seen them? All information can be reported by calling police on 101 using investigation number 14/191667/19."
