Two men have been charged over a robbery in Sheffield in which a shop owner was injured.

Police were called to a mini market on Robin Lane, Beighton, when two men and a woman entered the shop and the shop owner was threatened with a knife.

While one man brandished the blade the other went behind the counter and stole, cigarettes, vodka, cash and scratch cards.

Extra police patrols continue after double shooting on Sheffield estate

Kailen Rose, 18, of Spring Lane, Arbourthorne and Kaylom Delaney, 20, of Baildon Close, Leeds, have both been charged with robbery following the incident on Sunday, February 16,

The men were arrested yesterday and charged today.

They have been remanded in custody to appear at court later today.

A 21-year-old woman arrested under suspicion of robbery has since been released under investigation.

The shop owner was injured in the incident and taken to hospital for treatment but was later discharged and has since returned to work.
