Two men arrested as cannabis plants seized in Rotherham

South Yorkshire Police have seized 1,200 cannabis plants from a Rotherham address following a drugs raid today (April 21).

Officers from Rotherham Central Neighbourhood Policing Team said two men attempted to flee upon their arrival at the scene.

They said: “Drug dealers. FYI. We have a special red key that lets us in when we have a court warrant to say we can.”

“After getting into the building two fellas put on their best running shoes - not sure they were running for a bus (they were caught).”
