POLICE have arrested two men over a break-in where offenders carrying baseball bats forced their way into a house.
Officers were alerted to the armed raid at the property on Brockwell Lane, Chesterfield, on Tuesday, at about 6.30pm.
It was reported burglars carrying baseball bats forced their way inside, but nothing was stolen and nobody was hurt during the incident.
Two suspects, men aged 44 and 41, were arrested over the break-in.
They were still being questioned by detectives in Chesterfield yesterday.
Witnesses to the burglary, anyone who knows who was involved or who saw anything suspicious in the area on the night of the raid should call Derbyshire Police on 101.
