Travellers have set up camp on a Sheffield football pitch.

The group of around a dozen caravans and vehicles arrived yesterday (Monday, April 26) at a pitch opposite the Goals football centre on Norfolk Park Road.

The pitch is near where the Pro Socker Pumas Junior Football Club play but the club have said today that the group are not on their pitches.

Sheffield Council and South Yorkshire Police have both been asked to provide a statement.
