Touching tributes and flowers left at scene where young solicitor was fatally shot

Children and family members have left touching tributes flowers and balloons at the scene where a young solicitor was gunned down.

Heartbreaking messages were placed close to where Khuram Javed died.

Khuram Javed, aged 30, was fatally shot in an attack on Clough Road, close to Bramall Lane, at around 9.40pm on Saturday, April 10.

The married father-of-two, who worked as a solicitor in Sheffield, was also the nephew of Haji Mohammed Aslam, who is chairman of the Madina Masjid based on Wolseley Road, Lowfield.

Khuram’s family is well known across city, where there has been an outpouring of grief at his death.

One floral tribute reads:

"My Chachu Khuram

Chachu my dad really misses you and i do. You was so good to all of us we will never forget you ever. Rest in jannaha inshallah.

Amelia, Amura Yusuf and my Dad.”

Another note attached to a bouquet reads:

“My dearest brother Khuram

“I don't know how I will be able to accept that your have gone from this world leaving us all behind, but I thank you for leaving us with the most beautiful memories.

“I also thank you for being an amazing friend and being with me my whole life.

“Words can't describe how much I miss you and how much I love you.

“You have left us with a hole in our hearts that will never be filled. From seeing you every day to the thought of never seeing you again breaks my heart breaks my heart the most. You will be forever in my heart. I look forward to the day I see you again.”
