Thugs point gun at Sheffield woman after breaking into her home and stealing car

A woman was threatened with a gun by intruders who broke into her Sheffield home and demanded cash and drugs before stealing her car.

The alarm was raised at 6am on Saturday, July 11 after two men broke into a house on Browning Road, Fox Hill, and threatened the woman who lives there with a gun.

South Yorkshire Police said the burglars demanded drugs and cash before stealing the woman’s Toyota Yaris, which was parked outside the property.

Detective Constable Natalie Bettison, leading the police investigation into the raid, said: “We are aware that incidents like this can be alarming to our communities.

“We are working hard to identify the men involved in this incident and ensure they are arrested.”

Witnesses or anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101 and quote incident number 202 of July 11.
