Thugs break into Sheffield takeaway before stealing CCTV cameras and £150

Cash and CCTV cameras were stolen in the burglary of a takeaway in Sheffield.

Toppolis on City Road, Manor Top, was broken into last weekend when a door at the rear of the shop was forced open to gain entry.

Cameras and £150 cash were stolen during the raid, which happened between 2pm and 4pm on Sunday, February 28.

South Yorkshire Police said: “An investigation is under way and enquiries are continuing.”
