Sheffield Magistrates’ Court heard on December 19 how Stephen Dale Butcher, aged 40, of Ormond Way, Jordanthorpe, smashed a window at the Frog and Parrot pub after he had been refused entry because he had a bag with bottles of alcohol. Emily King, prosecuting, said he threw one of the bottles at a glass door panel. Butcher admitted causing damage after the incident on November 26. Magistrates sentenced Gaubert to a 12 month community order with 70 hours of unpaid work. He must also pay £400 compensation and £85 costs.
