Three more arrested over murder of Doncaster man

Police investigating the death of a Doncaster man have arrested two teenage boys and a 19-year-old man earlier today (December 19) on suspicion of murder, bringing the number of people arrested to seven.

Jerry Appicella, aged 51, was found dead in his house on Craganour Place, Denaby Main last Sunday (December 15) after police received calls of concern for his welfare.

South Yorkshire Police, in a statement, said the trio remain in police custody at this time.

On Tuesday (December 17), three teenage girls were arrested and later released under investigation.

On Wednesday (December 18) a teenage boy was arrested and released on police bail.

The police also appealed for help from the public, urging those with information to contact 101 quoting incident number 422 of 14 December.
