Three men arrested after a blaze in a block of flats in Sheffield have been bailed after police questioning.

Three men arrested over a suspected arson attack at a block of flats in Sheffield have been bailed after police questioning

The men – one aged 45 and two aged 47 – were arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life after a fire broke out at flats on Batemoor Road, Batemoor, on Monday night.

Residents were trapped in their homes and had to be rescued by firefighters.

One terrified dad wrapped his 18-month-old daughter in a curtain and lowered her to the ground below.
