Three men arrested over armed raid at family home in Dronfield

Three men have been arrested over armed robbery in Dronfield in which a family was tied up and threatened with a gun.

Two suspects aged 33 and one aged 35 have been quizzed over a raid at a house on Stubley Lane, Dronfield, on Thursday, March 19.

A man was assaulted before he was tied up with his wife and one of their children while their other child was forced to accompany a robber while he ransacked the house.

Cash and jewellery were stolen and the robbers escaped after stealing a delivery driver’s car - a silver Nissan Almeria, which was later found abandoned.

The three suspects have been bailed pending further inquiries.
