A 30-year-old man arrested on Tuesday was released on bailed earlier this week after questioning.

Detectives launched an investigation after a 12-year-old boy was injured in a drive-by shooting on Northern Avenue, Arbourthorne.

Police believe he was an innocent bystander caught up in a feud between two rival organised crime gangs.

There have been a number of shootings in and around Arbourthorne over recent months.

The injured boy has undergone surgery and remains in hospital in a stable condition.
