Thieves targeting cars at Northern General Hospital in Sheffield

Police have warned people using Northern General Hospital in Sheffield about an increase in thefts from cars parked there.

They have issued advice to drivers visiting the hospital on how to keep their possessions safe.

Officers from Sheffield North East neighbourhood policing team said: “Vehicle crime can affect us anywhere. We have however had a increase in theft from vehicles within the grounds of the Northern General Hospital. The below advice is useful wherever you park.
