5. Doncaster man, Louis Windsor-Harris who accused his partner of being unfaithful, strangled her until she passed out and held knives to her throat and eyeball, has been jailed.

6. Dean Hancock, 23, of Barrie Crescent, Sheffield, pleaded guilty to three counts of assaulting an emeregency worker, and was sentenced to to ten months in prison, when he appeared at Sheffield Magistrates Court on May 1.

7. Pictured is Paul Newton, aged 33, of South Street, Barnsley, who has been jailed at Sheffield Crown Court to 18-months of custody after pleading guilty to breaching a restraining order, an assault and to possessing a knife.

8. Tommy Petruska was sentenced to six months in prison at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court and ordered to pay £200 victim compensation. Petruska pleaded guilty to charges of assault following an incident on Tuesday 26 May where he assaulted a woman, in her 20’s by kicking and punching her.
