Here are some of the longest sentences which have been handed out to criminals in Sheffield so far this year.
17. Faisal Yousaf
Faisal Yousaf beat up and robbed a young man at knifepoint on Frog Walk, in Sheffield, in May 2018.
The 20-year-old, of Violet Bank Road, Nether Edge, Sheffield, was found guilty at a trial in December 2020 of robbery and was sentenced the following month to five and a half years of custody.
He had been identified as a suspect shortly after the terrifying knifepoint robbery but evaded police until he was eventually arrested in May 2020.
