These are the latest convictions from Sheffield magistrates’ court

The following were convicted at Sheffield magistrates’ court between Thursday, January 2 and Monday, January 6.

Dean Edwards: aged 48, of Dawson Avenue, Rawmarsh, Rotherham, criminal damage, community order, unpaid work requirement, restraining order imposed, £100 compensation, £175 costs.

Asif Ismail Malik: aged 48, of Victoria Street, City Centre, possession of a class A drug, community order, curfew requirement with electronic monitoring, £175 costs.

John Sheridan Parker-Wood: aged 28, of Woolley Wood Road, Shiregreen, used or threatened unlawful violence towards a person and their conduct was enough to cause that person to fear for their personal safety, 16 weeks in prison, £320 costs, football banning order made for eight years.

Faizal Crapper: aged 46, of Hyde Park Terrace, Manor Castle, driving while disqualified, driving without insurance, committed a further offence while subject to a suspended sentence, 18 weeks in prison, £122 costs, disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for 12 months.

William Duffy: aged 18, of Guild Road, East Dene, Rotherham, driving without insurance, driving without a licence, failed to provide a specimen of blood for a laboratory test, £120 fine, £117 costs, disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for 12 months.

William McDonagh: aged 42, of Eastern Avenue, Arbourthorne, criminal damage, discharged conditionally for 12 months, £60 compensation.

Emma Reid: aged 39, of Lister Avenue, Rawmarsh, Rotherham, theft, community order, drug rehabilitation requirement, rehabilitation activity requirement, £90 costs.

Darren Gothard: aged 53, of Salisbury Road, Maltby, Rotherham, breach of restraining order, community order, rehabilitation activity requirement, unpaid work requirement, £175 costs.

Kayleigh Zoe Ward: aged 32, of Broadway, Swinton, assault by beating, discharged conditionally for 12 months, £106 costs.

Dwaine Watts: aged 37, of Hornbeam Road, Flanderwell, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a person to fear that immediate unlawful violence would be used against them, six weeks in prison suspended for 12 months, rehabilitation activity requirement, £100 compensation, £85 costs.

Troy Maxwell Chambers: aged 30, of Burgoyne Road, Walkley, driving without a licence, driving without insurance, discharged conditionally for 12 months, £21 costs, disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for 12 months.

Sukhminder Judge: aged 33, of Surtees Close, Maltby, Rotherham, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a person to fear that immediate unlawful violence would be used against them, community order, unpaid work requirement, £400 compensation, £90 costs.

Jessarene Elisha Riley: aged 39, of Carrill Road, Southey, failed to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following release from prison, 14 days in prison.

Stephen Swallow: aged 36, of Adwick Road, Mexborough, Doncaster, theft, community order, exclusion requirement, rehabilitation activity requirement, £90 costs.

Justin Webb: aged 26, of Lilian Street, Town Centre, Rotherham, assaulted a paramedic acting in their function as an emergency worker, 36 weeks in prison suspended for 12 months, rehabilitation activity requirement, unpaid work requirement, £400 compensation.

Michael Hudson: aged 34, of Granby Road, Burngreave, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a person to fear that immediate unlawful violence would be used against them, carried two kitchen knives in a public place without lawful authority, £207 costs, £80 fine, order for the destruction of the knives.

Adrian Hutton: aged 38, of Newlands Road, Intake, criminal damage, harassment, assault by beating, community order, rehabilitation activity requirement, restraining order imposed, £264 fine, £500 compensation, £175 costs.

David Robinson: aged 40, of Kingsway, Grimethorpe, Barnsley, possession of a class A drug, failed to attend a follow-up assessment, £120 fine, £115 costs, order for the destruction of the drug.

Samantha Gerrard: aged 30, of Ferham Close, Meadowbank, Rotherham, dishonestly made off from a taxi without having paid as required with the intent to avoid payment, theft, breach of criminal behaviour order, failed to remain for the duration of an initial assessment to establish whether they were dependant upon or had a propensity to misuse a Class A drug, 16 weeks in prison for 12 months, curfew requirement with electronic monitoring, rehabilitation activity requirement, £272 costs.

Jonathon Christopher Paul Mars: aged 33, of Charter Row, city centre, theft, community order, curfew requirement with electronic monitoring, £175 costs.

Daniel Watts: aged 33, of Acre Gate, High Green, drunk and disorderly, £250 fine, £117 costs.

Khalid Shafiq: aged 38, of Richmond Hall Road, Richmond, breach of restraining order, committed a further subject while subject to a suspended sentence, 22 weeks in prison, restraining order imposed, £122 costs.

Ishmael Morris Thomas: aged 51, of Central Drive, Rawmarsh, Rotherham, theft, failed to surrender to custody, 18 week in prison, £200 compensation.
