Terrified boys threatened by men with KNIVES who broke into their home

Two teenage boys were threatened by men armed with knives during a terrifying house raid in Rotherham.

The boys, aged 14 and 16, were threatened after two or three men burst into their home in Broom Avenue, Broom, and searched the property.

The armed robbers escaped with £300 in cash.

The boys were unharmed in the raid, which took place at around 5.30pm on Saturday, November 14.

Detective Sergeant John Morris said: “This was understandably an incredibly scary incident for the two teens involved, who were home alone at the time.

“We are doing everything we can to trace those responsible and would urge anyone with any information to contact us.

“Our officers are carrying out door-to-door enquiries this week but we’d appreciate anyone who was in the area with dash cam footage, or who holds CCTV, to come forward.”
