A teenager with learning difficulties was pushed off his bike and had his phone stolen as he rode through Sheffield.

The 17-year-old was cycling along Hollybank Road, towards Mansfield Road, Intake, when he was targeted by a group of about eight boys.

Two members of the group pushed the teenager off his bike, searched his pockets and stole his mobile phone.

They then ran off.

One was white, around 18 years old, less than 6ft tall and was wearing a black Nike hooded top covering his mouth and nose.

The other was also white, a similar age and height and of a small build.

He was wearing a black body warmer over a grey hooded top with black stripes down the sleeves and grey Adidas bottoms and gloves.

Anyone with information about the robbery at 8.30pm on Friday, April 24 should call South Yorkshire Police on 101.
