Teenager arrested on suspicion of murdering Sheffield dad Marcus Ramsay

Detectives have made an arrest in connection with the death of Marcus Ramsay.

A 17-year-old from Sheffield was arrested on suspicion of murder yesterday (26 August). He remains in custody being questioned by officers.

Mr Ramsay, 35, was stabbed during an altercation in Horninglow Road, Firth Park in the early hours of Saturday 8 August. He was taken to hospital but sadly died as a result of his injuries.

Detectives continue to appeal for information about the events leading up to Mr Ramsay’s death and anyone with mobile phone footage of a street party in Horninglow Road which took place on Friday 7 August in to Saturday 8 August is encouraged to come forward.
