Teenager arrested after group of youths threatened with knife in Sheffield city centre

A teenage boy was arrested after youths were threatened with a knife in Sheffield city centre.

The 16-year-old was arrested after police officers were alerted to an incident on High Street at 4.45pm on Saturday, February 6 where a group of youths was reportedly threatened by a boy with a blade.

An arrest was made on nearby Howard Street.

A youth was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence and possession of an offensive weapon.

He was later released under investigation.
