Teenage boy stabbed in Sheffield

A teenage boy has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in Sheffield.

The incident happened in Richmond Park View on Saturday night.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Just before 9pm on Saturday, police responded to reports of a group of males fighting in Richmond Park View.

“A 16-year-old boy is understood to have suffered a stab wound to his leg in the incident.

“He received hospital treatment and his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

“An investigation is now underway.”
