Teenage boy stabbed in Sheffield

A teenage boy is in hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed in Sheffield.

The 17-year-old was attacked in an alleyway which runs between Queen’s Road and Farm Road, Highfield, at around 1pm on Wednesday.

Emergency services were called to the scene and the boy was rushed to hospital by ambulance, where he was in a serious but stable condition yesterday.

A police investigation into the incident is underway.

Detectives believe a group of men were involved in the attack.

They want to hear from witnesses to the violence or anyone who witnessed an altercation in the area beforehand.
