Taser used on man during police chase in Sheffield

South Yorkshire Police said the taser was deployed when officers tracked down a stolen car, which was taken by the owner’s friend after a night out.

The driver was tasered when he fled from the car.

He later failed a roadside drink and drug test.

The man was arrested for theft of a motor vehicle, drink and drug driving, and driving while disqualified.
