Suspects in court over murder of pizza delivery driver

Two men have appeared in court in Sheffield charged with murdering a pizza delivery worker.

Thavisha Lakindu Peiris, aged 25, died after he was allegedly attacked as he made a delivery in Southey, Sheffield, last November.

Shamraze Khan, aged 25, of Southey Crescent, Southey and a 17 year old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons, are both charged with murder.

They are also charged with two counts of robbery each in relation to a separate incident.

They appeared via video link and were remanded in custody until June.
