Sheffield North East’s Neighbourhood Policing Team, which carried out the raid in its ‘fight against drug dealing’ said drug use was highlighted as the main issue of concern for local residents who took part in a survey last week.

The team said: “Thank you to all of you who took the time to complete the Parson Cross, Fox Hill and Southey survey last week.

“As a team we continue our commitment to listen to people’s concerns and act on them. The survey results show that overall the main three concerns in order of priority are drug dealing and use, off-road bikes and speeding vehicles.

“Local policing is about keeping people safe and overall we have achieved some very positive results over the last couple of years however there is no place for complacency and we remain focused on further improving our community.
