Stolen tractor involved in police chase in South Yorkshire
A stolen tractor was involved in a police chase along a South Yorkshire motorway.
South Yorkshire Police said the ‘rather slow speed pursuit’ was mounted when the driver of a stolen tractor failed to stop for officers.
They followed the tractor along the M1, M18 and parts of Doncaster before the tyres were deflated and the driver was arrested.
South Yorkshire Police said: “Special thanks to our colleagues from Nottinghamshire Police, who assisted us in bringing a potentially dangerous pursuit to a safe conclusion.”
