Nobody arrests have yet been made but South Yorkshire Police said the shooting is being treated as a ‘targeted attack’.The two murders are not being linked by detectives.

Large police cordons remained in place at both crime scenes yesterday as detectives worked on piecing together exactly what happened in each incident.

There is an increased police presence in both areas as officers attempt to reassure concerned residents of their safety.
