Sheffield Magistrates’ Court heard today, July 9, how Jake Stevens, aged 28, of Park Avenue, North Anston, Rotherham, damaged the Smart car’s wing mirrors in Sheffield on February 16.

Kirsty Pearson, prosecuting, said: “The defendant attended the complainant’s address with flowers which suggested there was some hope of reconciliation but it was clear from his body language that the feelings were not reciprocated. He damaged wing mirrors at both sides of the vehicle.”
