South Yorkshire Police use Twitter to give out crime prevention advice

Have your say

Motorists are being urged to put their questions about vehicle security to South Yorkshire Police next week when a one-hour crime prevention session will run on Twitter.

Crime prevention officers will be on hand between 7.30pm and 8.30pm next Wednesday to answer queries that have posted to the force.

Crime Prevention Officer, PC Andy Robinson, said: “I’m really looking forward to discussing the issue of vehicle security with the residents of South Yorkshire.

“It’s a great way for us to find out what people’s concerns are when it comes to securing their vehicles and making sure they have the most up-to-date advice available.

“We all need to make it as hard as possible for criminals to commit crime.”
