South Yorkshire Police release e-fit of suspect following Sheffield distraction burglary

South Yorkshire Police investigating a distraction burglary in the High Green area of Sheffield have released an e-fit of a man they want to identify.

It comes after an 80-year-old was allegedly a victim of theft inside his own home.

At 2.15pm on 15 November, the victim was at home when a man knocked on the door.

It’s understood the man started to discuss the guttering of the pensioner’s home, and asked him to look at the rear of the property. The victim then led the man through the house.

An e-fit of the man police would like to identify.

At one point, it’s believed the man was alone in the living room for a short time. After he left, the victim realised that money from the living room cabinet had gone missing.

Detectives have been working with the victim and created an e-fit of the man they would like to identify.
