South Yorkshire Police issues appeal to locate wanted man missing since last year

South Yorkshire Police is appealing for information to locate a wanted man who absconded from prison in October last year.

John Elliot, 41 is currently serving a three-year sentence at HMP Hatfield for burglary.

On Sunday October 11, he left the prison and failed to return.

Elliot is described as having a medium build with greying hair and a beard.

Those with information are urged to call 101 quoting incident number 823 of 11 October 2020, or call 999 if you think you have seen him.
