South Yorkshire Police arrest woman on suspicion of being Spice dealer

The 52-year-old was arrested after officers raided a home in Worsley Close, Kendray, Barnsley, this morning.

Officers swooped following concerns from residents that the home was being used for drug dealing.They found Spice in the property and equipment believed to be used for selling drugs.The woman arrested at the house is being held on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.Sergeant Darrell Needham said: “Although sometimes it may seem that we do not act upon intelligence given to us straight away, we are.“We are stronger with our communities and I would like to thank those who take the time to help us keep our streets safe.”
