South Yorkshire pharmacy robber hunted by police

Police are hunting a robber who held up a South Yorkshire pharmacy with a screwdriver.

The robbery struck at the pharmacy on Wath Road, Mexborough, and threatened a member of staff with the weapon while demanding cash from the till

Police said the robber left once cash had been handed over.

He was around 5ft 8ins tall, slim and had his face covered by a white jacket, which was zipped up with the hood pulled over.

The robber was wearing beige trousers and was holding a carrier bag.
