Ian McAffrey, aged 33, of Leopold Street, Dinnington, Sheffield, pleaded guilty to six counts of handling stolen goods and one count of fraud during a hearing at Sheffield Crown Court on May 5.

Ms Evans, prosecuting, added McAffrey had committed the fraud after he had sold a stolen bike at a Cash Converters.

Judge Rachael Harrison told McAffrey he had been allowing the use of his flat to store a large number of stolen items.

She sentenced him to 12-months of custody.
