Sheffield Magistrates’ Court heard today, August 12, how Catherine Pellegrine, aged 41, of no fixed abode, had been banned from visiting her mother on Park Road, East Dene, Rotherham, after drinking heavily and asking for money.

Mark Hughes, prosecuting, said Pellegrine breached the restraining order when she was found at the home on July 31 and was given a deferred sentence with a warning to keep away but she admitted breaching the order on August 11 when she was found there again.

Mr Hughes added Pellegrine’s mother revealed she does not want the restraining order and Matthew Shepherd, defending, said the order is not “wanted or desired”.

Magistrates marked the restraining order withdrawn and revoked two previously imposed community orders and imposed a fresh 12-month community order with a rehabilitation requirement.

Pellegrine must pay £45 costs and a £45 victim surcharge.
