Sheffield Magistrates’ Court recently heard how Daniel Snook, 23, of St Leger Close, Laughton Common, Rotherham, was found to have been driving the car after he was involved in a collision.

Mark Hughes, prosecuting, said the complainant was woken by the defendant who told her he had crashed her car and she had not given him permission to drive it and he had not been insured to do so.
