South Yorkshire boy due at court accused of rape
A 15-year-old boy from South Yorkshire is due to appear at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court this morning, charged with the rape of a girl under the age of 13.
The boy is alleged to have raped a girl in Rotherham on May 21 last year.
The complainant was under the age of 13 at the time of the alleged offence.
The defendant was 14-years-old at the time of the alleged rape.
Neither the complainant or the defendant can be named for legal reasons.
