“Searches soon led to the discovery of a significant amount of Class A drugs in the kitchen and a viable handgun hidden inside the lining of a settee.
“Officers found drugs stashed everywhere, including heroin, MDMA and cannabis worth a street value of around £8,000.
“The firearm was identified as a semi-automatic pistol, with six rounds in the magazine.

Suileman, 35, of Sydney Road, was charged with possession of a firearm and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
He was sentenced to eight years in prison at Sheffield Crown Court on April 21 after admitting knowledge of the handgun at an earlier hearing.
Doyle, 30, of Seabrook Road, who was found at Suileman’s flat during the raid, was handed a 58-week custodial sentence on the same date after admitting possession with intent to supply cannabis.
