Police made the discovery at the Costa Coffee Drive-Thru at Meadowhall on Wednesday after the driver and passenger of a silver Ford Focus ‘jumped out and fled’ when they spotted officers.

A force spokesperson joked the driver should ‘have had a bit more caffeine’ after he was caught by officers from Page Hall’s dedicated policing team and arrested for Possession with Intent to Supply Controlled Drugs and immigration offences.
