Fozia Khan’s 15-month-old German Shepherd Saber has been missing since the early hours of March 17. He had been staying with her uncle at his house on Staniforth Road and was due to be collected by her later that day. She had been away in Pakistan on holiday.

Fazia, from Darnall, said Saber was last seen in the outhouse at her uncle’s home, which she had prepared for him with a bed and blankets before she went away.

She told The Star: “I’m missing him like crazy, I just want him home. I won’t be angry with those who have him, I just want him back.

“I can't describe into words how much this boy means to me, when I was away he was all I thought about.”

Fazia said she is “90 per cent sure” Saber has been stolen and has searched as far away as Rotherham following one sighting.

She said: “There’s a lot of drug dealers in the area, I’m not sure if one has stolen him and took him to a drug house.

“I’m guessing he’s with some people who are selling him on.”

Now she is offering £500 for his safe return. Anyone with information should call her on 07784995932.

Fozia added: “It’s only been one year since my last dog died from stomach cancer, I’m still grieving over that one. It was a really hard decision to get another but I can’t live without dogs. I’m absolutely devastated.”
