The circumstances of the apparent altercation are unclear but the account claims one of the people involved is McBurnie.

A club spokesperson said: “Officials at Sheffield United are aware of the video circulating on social media and are currently investigating.”

The Scotland international has made 65 appearances in all competitions this season but is currently out injured.

He joined the Blades from Swansea in 2019, scoring nine times in his first season.
