Sheffield United fan who had a poo on Hillsborough pitch breaks his silence over ‘nugget’

The Blade, who has changed his Facebook profile picture to show him crouching at the centre spot and giving the thumbs up sign next to the excrement, has posted about his exploits online.

He said: “All of the comments about poo-gate have tickled me. It was only a nugget chaps. Get over it.”

In a second Facebook post, responding to a friend claiming he will be at risk of a lifetime ban over the incident, he said: “Lifetime ban? Doubt it. Never seen one yet for trespassing.”

The disgusting video and photographs of the incident have gone viral after being shared online.

A number of men broke into the stadium and Sheffield Wednesday has reported the matter to South Yorkshire Police.

Those involved are clearly visible in the online footage.
